1893	Japan introduced its first weight and measurement regulations. Otokichi Ishida II was authorized to manufacture scales and began producing beam balances, platform scales, and top pan beam balances.
1948	Ishida Scales Mfg. Co., Ltd. was founded.
1972	The world first multihead weigher ACW-M-1 was developed.
1977	1st weighing machine was installed in Thailand.
1983	Basic weighing principles of multihead weighers were patented.
1984	Ishida Europe Ltd., the company's first wholly-owned overseas subsidiary, was established in the U.K. Ishida developed the world's first backroom use digital printer incorporating a CRT display.
1992	Ishida Corporation of America was built. Ishida celebrated its 100th anniversary and changed its official name and logo.
1995	ISO 9002 certification was granted to Shiga factory.
1996	Ishida Systems was established in Malaysia.
1997	ISO 9001 certification was granted to Shigafactory.
2000	Shanghai Ishida was established. The CCW-M series was developed which enables interface communication via Ethernet host link.
2001	ISHIDA (THAILAND) CO., LTD. was established.
